Mario Dedivanovic, the creator behind the iconic Kim Kardashian looks, released his own line of makeup at Sephora – ‘Makeup by Mario’. I was able to get my hands on some during the VIB Rouge sale, and let me tell you – totally worth it – and here’s why:
What Is It?
The Master Mattes palette is, as stated, a matte palette with universal shades. It contains both warm tone and cool tone shadows. The shadows are very creamy and blendable; they are also buildable. This makes this palette great to go from day to night. The tones are very neutral, basic tones and therefore great for anyone just starting to experiment with makeup or if you’re feeling a colourless look.
The Pro Volume Lip Gloss has a multidimensional shine and isn’t tacky. It also makes the lips appear plumper. It can be worn on its own or over a lipstick or lip pencil.
Is It Worth It?
The palette is an absolute dream. It is very easy to use and the shades are universal, therefore it’s great for beginners and pros. You can go from day to night with one palette. It is quite honestly the only palette I’ve been using since I bought it. As for the lip gloss, I love that it’s multidimensional and is not tacky at all (ie: your hair won’t get stuck in your lipgloss anymore). I love to wear it over a nude lipstick or on its own.
