On a recent trip to Beverly Hills I knew I just had to stop by the Anastasia Beverly Hills boutique and pick up a couple new liquid lippies for fall. Really though, how can anyone walk into a makeup store and just pick up one thing…. Obviously I had to stock up on makeup from one of my favourite brands! I walked away with the cream contour kit in medium, 4 liquid lippies, the shadow couture palette, a new highlighter, and another brow pencil (whoops, that may be a few more things than a liquid lippie). Here are some swatches of the new liquid lipsticks!
I love the liquid lipsticks because they are easy to apply and soooo long lasting! The texture is buttery, and smooth, while the product is super pigmented therefore a little bit goes a long way. It seems like the product should last a long time since you only need to apply a little bit and doesn’t require much touching up during the day. Be sure to let the product dry before eating or drinking anything so nothing gets smudged.
My only concern with this product is that my lips did feel a little tight and dry by the end of the day, but it is very hard to find a long lasting lippie that doesn’t make you feel that way after 12 hours of wear. Overall I really love the application and the colours are perfect for fall!
