I knew that the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation was all the hype, but I never got to try it. So when I heard that they reformulated the foundation I had to try it! This foundation is designed for the harsh lighting, and high definition cameras of the film and TV industry.
I got the shade Amber. I would say that the foundation lasts all day and is full coverage. The best part about it is that it is lightweight. Usually when foundations are full coverage they are heavy and thick, but not this one! It is also has a natural finish, and doesn’t look caky. Just like most liquid foundations, if it’s not set properly with a powder it may look slightly oily at the end of the day. However, even when I didn’t set it with a powder it didn’t come out as oily as some other liquid foundations I’ve tried in the past. So it’s definitely manageable. The only thing I disagree with is the claim to be buildable. I did not find that it was very buildable but since it is medium-full coverage it does not require that much product.
